Dr. Audrey Bolaños

Dr. Audrey Bolaños
Dr. Bolaños brings a lifelong love for animals and a diverse background in veterinary medicine to every patient she sees. She was born in Florida and raised in North Carolina where she completed her undergraduate degrees at North Carolina State University. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completing her clinical training at the University of Florida. Along the way, she gained hands-on experience in everything from small animal surgery to emergency care — and even conducted her Master’s research on dolphins!
Proud of her Hispanic heritage, Dr. Bolaños celebrates the joy, tenacity, and family-centered values that shape her approach to veterinary care and enjoys connecting with clients across cultures. She loves bringing that same energy into her work, making both pets and their people feel welcome and understood. Whether she’s providing critical care on an unstable patient, comforting a nervous pup, or helping a family understand their pet’s care plan, Dr. Bolaños is passionate about making both pets and people feel welcome and supported.
Her journey has taken her from caring for birds, sea turtles, and pocket pets to guiding SCUBA divers as a certified Divemaster. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her underwater exploring coral reefs, running across the island, hiking, traveling, or spending time with her own scaled (and sometimes finned) friends.
