Dr. Nicole Wong
Dr. Wong was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She had a lifelong passion for animals and a dream of becoming a veterinarian from a young age. While in high school, she devoted her time to volunteering at the Hawaiian Humane Society, the Honolulu Zoo, and at King Street Pet Hospital. During school breaks, she continued to grow her love for veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant at King Street Pet Hospital.
After graduating from Punahou, Dr. Wong attended Colorado State University where she studied biology and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Biomedical Sciences. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Colorado State University in 2017. After graduating, Dr. Wong returned to Honolulu to be with her family and worked at VCA Gentle Vets before rejoining the King Street Pet Hospital team.
Dr. Wong enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Shayne, and her shepherd terrier pup, Roxy. She has a variety of hobbies including hiking, nature photography, cooking, baking, dancing hula, and going to the beach.
